This coffee is grown in Marcala, a municipality in the mountainous region of Montecillos, Honduras. Marcala is known for growing the finest coffee in all of Honduras, and our Barissimo beans are no exception! At altitudes reaching 5,575 feet, this coffee grows to embody creamy, sweet, citrus flavors. And since it’s organically farmed, all chemical substances are eliminated to make sure it tastes just the way it’s supposed to. By growing Fair Trade Organic coffee, Marcala works to create a culture of environmental protection, improve education for farmer’s children and produce sustainable, quality coffee.
